anet and Ronald Strote of Bloomfield
Hills joyfully announce the engage-
ment of their son Seth Reuben-Harris
to Vivian Renee, daughter of Victoria and
Allan Tran of Ann Arbor.
Seth and Vivian received their bachelor's
degrees from the University of Michigan, but
met while attending Wayne State University
Medical School.
Seth did his residency in emergency
medicine at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit. He
completed a fellowship in emergency ultra-
sound at Hennepin Hospital, Minneapolis,
Minn. He is an emergency medicine phy-
sician and assistant professor of emergency medicine at the University of
Minnesota Medical Center.
Vivian is completing her residency in otolaryngology at the University of
Minnesota, Minneapolis.
A June 1 wedding is planned Mallorca, Spain.

Scheidt of Portage, and Pam and
Josh Weiner of Kalamazoo happily announce
the engagement of their children, Allison
Elyce Green and Adam Samuel Weiner.
Allison is a graduate of the University
of Florida and has a J.D. from Nova
Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale,
Fla. She is a research and program officer at
Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.
Adam graduated from the University of
Michigan and has an M.A. in arts manage-
ment from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa. He serves as the execu-
tive director of the Farmers Alley Theatre in Kalamazoo, where he also directs,
acts and sings in productions.
An October wedding is planned in the Detroit area after which the couple will
reside in Kalamazoo.
