The Franklin Athletic Club in Southfield also offers full service and many options.
Marketing Director Laura Seaman was a member before she joined the staff. "I have
my own kid's birthday parties here," she said. "There are so many different options that
you have."
For her son's Buzz Lightyear-themed fifth birthday, she set up inflatables, armed the
kids with glow sticks and glow-in-the-dark nerf guns and let them head off to infinity
and beyond. "That was, by far, the best," said Seaman.
The club can plan all-inclusive parties for any theme with activities that include
swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, nerf guns, inflatables, zumbatonics and a host of
other athletics.
Rental rates for the hall adjoining the gymnasium and club challenge area, which
includes soccer field, rock wall, obstacle course and inflatables, start at $2,300.
All of these facilities offer packages for birthday parties,
corporate events, non-profit events and adult parties.
