Educating Jews Against All Odds

ORT America is revolutionizing science and technology
education for over 45,000 students in 87 schools across Israel.

ORT is the largest Jewish education organization in the world. We provide advanced education to over 300,000
people in 55 countries, including Israel, CIS and Baltic States, Latin America, and the United States. Jews must
remain a vital part of society. We must educate our people wherever they are.

Ori Friedman • Architect and ORT Graduate

75% of ORT graduates in the USA enter the workforce.

• $75 helps ORT provide the latest tech-
nology so students are prepared to enter
today's job market and pursue fulfilling
careers.

• $250 helps an e-learning center bring
students from St. Petersburg or Haifa
together with students from Prague or
Santiago to learn and interact.

• $550 supports an economically disadvan-
taged Student at Risk with a year's worth
of essential books, school supplies, hot
meals and clothing.

• $1800 trains teachers in Israel for one
semester on the use and applications of
new science and technology labs.

• $10,000 covers one grade level for one
year with extracurricular programs, such
as school trips, after-school programs,
and art and theater projects.

• $100,000 funds a state-of-the-art com-
