took part in a meaning-
ful program Feb. 4 at Adat
Shalom Synagogue in Farmington
Hills when they learned about bikkur
chomim, taking care of the sick, by
nursing stuffed teddy bears.
The children, ages 2 and 3, brought
in their stuffed animals and treated

them with real medical supplies, chick-
en soup, boo-boo bunnies and hugs.
They even made them get-well cards.
"Taking Care of Teddy" was spon-
sored by the Adat Shalom Early
Childhood Center and its Jewish
Family Education Department.
