purchased in Grosse Pointe. But she was
surprised to discover that her "perfect wedding gown"
was also "made in Michigan." More specifically it was
created in West Bloomfield by Ariel Taub.
Fallucca met the bridal designer at Bella Rose Bridal
Boutique in Shelby Township when Taub was launching
her dress line. Fallucca tried on an ivory, empire, sheath
dress with gold detailing and trimming. It was the first
dress I saw," said Michelle, who married Jeffrey Fallucca
last July.
"I tried it on, I loved it and I bought it. I had several
fittings because I was pregnant. Ariel bore with me
and my stomach, adjusting the fit of the dress around
me. I really trusted her input and ended up having so
many compliments on the dress at my wedding. It was
= perfect."
With a longtime interest in design, Taub began taking
sewing classes and studying fashion at the College for
Creative Studies in Detroit while still in high school.
