Family Hunts Nazis Slayers
Of Albert Einstein's Cousins
Ynet News The family of physicist
Albert Einstein is offering a $6,850
reward for information about the mur-
der of family members by Nazi soldiers
in 1944. The wife and two daughters of
Eisntein's cousin Robert were slain Aug.
3, 1944, near Florence, Italy.
Evidence surfaced in 2007 that
German soldiers stormed the house but
Robert Einstein was not to be found.
His wife and daughters, aged 18 and 27,
were accused of spying and murdered.
According to investigators, one sol-
dier distanced himself from his com-
rades and went to a separate part of
the house. Police are searching for him
in the hopes he is alive and can reveal
the officers in charge of the murder.
