Linda Weitz was introduced to
Hebrew Free Loan many years ago
when her husband was asked to
co-sign on a friend's loan. "It helped
our friend get through a difficult time,"
she said, "and I saw the good it did
for him and his family."
Today, Linda helps make those
loans possible by donating to HFL
as her charity of choice. She also
sends tributes when honoring or
memorializing friends and family.
"I donate to Hebrew Free Loan
because they have an active volunteer
board and they keep their costs to a
minimum. The money stays here
helping Jewish people in my
community who need it," Linda said.
"And then, when the loan is repaid,
the money is recycled to help another
person or family.
"It's comforting to know there's an
agency that can help Jewish families
financially when there's nowhere else
for them to turn," Linda added. 'That's
why I choose to support Hebrew Free
Loan with my donations."
