DR. LEONARD
HARRY CAIN, 87,
of Novi, died peace-
fully on Jan. 22, 2011.
He was born
May 6, 1923, in Port
Huron. A dentist who
operated a practice
Cain
for nearly 30 years
c. 1944
in Pontiac, Dr. Cain
was a resident of Fox Run in Novi. He
was also a longtime antique car enthu-
siast, who owned and toured in a 1918
Stanley Steamer for more than 25 years
and also owned a 1930 Packard for the
last 10 years. An Army veteran who
served in World War II, Dr. Cain enjoyed
visiting with his family, especially his
three grandchildren. Dr. Cain will be
greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 57
years, Rose Marie; his daughter, Anita;
his son, Merrill.
Interment at Mt. Sinai Cemetery
in Port Huron. Contributions may
be made to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

BRENT GEORGE CASSIDY, of
Northville, died Jan. 14, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, DeAnn
Cassidy; sons and daughters-in-law,
Kevin and Cynthia Hooper, Kirk and
Jessica Cassidy, Paul and Lisa Metter,
Adam and Yasmeen Wengrow; daugh-
ters, Lisa Metier (Gerald) Boreland,
Shari Adair; grandchildren, Lea,
Mara, Ilana, Trae, Samarra,Ben, Erin,
Cole, Kennedy and Stefanie; great-
grandchildren, Nicholas, Thomas and
Dominic; dearest friend and former
wife, Marlene Cassidy; many loving
nieces and nephews; loyal friends,
Steven Migdalewicz and Frederic
Sulak.

BERNARD
COOPER, 87, of Oak
Park, died Jan. 20,
2011.
He was the
owner of Cooper
Axle & Shaft and
Manufacturing
Cooper
Company.
Mr. Cooper is survived by his sons
and daughters-in-law, Robert and Judy
Cooper of Scottsdale, Ariz., Scott and
Lynn Cooper of Oak Park, Michael
and Beth Cooper of West Bloomfield;
grandchildren, Brian Cooper, Matthew
Cooper and Sally Vidosh, Ashley and
Anton Swistack, Adam, Daniel and
Josh Cooper.

He was the beloved husband of the
late Gladys Cooper; the dear brother of
the late Lawrence Cooper.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

SUSAN
KURTZMAN, 70, of
Southfield, died Jan.
21, 2011.
She was the com-
munity and public
relations director
at Maple Clinic in
Kurtzman
Birmingham.
Mrs. Kurtzman is survived by
her daughters, Elissa Rogin and her
friend Ryan Attenson of Royal Oak,
Jennifer Rogin Marks and her hus-
band Stephen Marks of Clifton, Va.;
grandchildren, Samuel Marks and
Nathan Marks; sister, Carolyn Ban;
brother and sister-in-law, Woof and
Liz Kurtzman; uncle, Robert Halperin;
aunt, Arlene Hertz. She is also sur-
vived by her former husband and dear
friend, Kenneth Rogin, as well as many
dear friends, extended family and
business associates.
She was the devoted daughter of the
late Sol and the late Betti Kurtzman.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
