MILDRED HOOBERMAN, 90, of West

Bloomfield, died Jan. 9, 2011.
She was an active member of Pioneer
Women (Na'amat), book clubs and mah
jong clubs. She was also an avid baker,
a B'nai B'rith bowler and a volunteer for
Meals on Wheels.
Mrs. Hooberman is survived by
her daughters and son-in-law, Peggy
Hooberman of Huntington Beach, Calif.,
Deb and Mike Berg of Golden, Colo.; son
and daughter-in-law, Barry Hooberman
and Mayra Pineiro-Sanchez of Fairfax,
Va.; grandchildren, Elli Berg, Ariana
Hooberman, Andrea Ho oberman, Nathan
Hooberman; brother-in-law, Joe Shuster;
also survived by Mona Mertz and many
other nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hooberman was the beloved wife
for 26 years of the late Eli "Al" Hooberman;
loving sister and sister-in-law of the late
Harry and the late Grace Cohen, the late
Mary Shuster, the late Lorrie and the late
Bob Abromovich.

FAYE KATZ, 89, of Northville, died Jan.

late Saul Katz; loving mother of the late
Barry Katz.

DEBRA LEIGH KOVACH, 41, of Walled
Lake, died Jan. 15, 2011.
She faced her illness with a courageous

DIANE "DINA" KWASELOW, 91, of Sun

City, Ariz., died Jan. 10, 2011.
She was born in Ishpeming, Mich., and
lived the majority of her life in Detroit.
Mrs. Kwaselow worked as a registered
nurse for many years. She was a lifetime
member of Hadassah and an avid mah
jong player.
Mrs. Kwaselow is survived by her sons,
Jerome and Alan (Nancy); grandsons,
Brandon and Adam Kwaselow; many lov-
ing caregivers, relatives and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the
late Morris; the cherished sister of the
late Earl Lowenstein, the late Leslie
Lowenstein, the late Norman Lowenstein
and the late Dorothy Jacobs; beloved
daughter of the late Samuel and the late
Celia Lowenstein.
Services and interment at Sunland
