Jacob Ross Arbit,

will be called to
the Torah as a bar
mitzvah on Friday,
Jan. 21, at Temple
Shir Shalom in West
Arbit
Bloomfield. He is the
grandson of Sharyn
and Harvey Mann, and Charlotte and
Dr. Meyer Arbit, all of West Bloomfield.
He is also the brother of Jared Arbit.
Jake attends Abbott Middle School
in West Bloomfield. His most mean-
ingful mitzvah project involves volun-
teering at local animal shelters, help-
ing pets without homes.
Jonah Israel Erlich
will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitz-
vah on Saturday, Jan.
22, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek in
Southfield. He is the
son of Renee and
Jonah Erlich
Craig Erlich and the
brother of Sophie
and Molly. His proud grandparents are

Jonah attends Derby Middle
School in Birmingham. His most
meaningful mitzvah project was
creating a book club for Farmington
Hills-based JARC's RRR program.

Ariz. Her sisters are

is the granddaughter of Gayle and
Harvey Beck of Bloomfield Hills
and Rhoda and Harvey Goldvarg
of Scottsdale, Ariz. She is also the
granddaughter of the late Robert
Siegel.
Olivia attends Cocopah Middle
School in Scottsdale. For one mitz-
vah project, she taught dance chore-
ography to the kids at Camp Swift.

School of Metropolitan Detroit in

JARC homes to play piano and sing
for the residents.

Temple Emanu-El
in Oak Park. She
is the daughter of
Lask
Julie and Michael
and sister of
Zachary. Sharing in this joyous event
will be her grandparents Sandra and
Robert Weitz and Glenda and Robert
Lask.
Zoe is a seventh-grader at Norup
International School in Oak Park.
Among her mitzvah projects, she
volunteered at the Berkley Autism
Spectrum Disorder Summer Camp.
