fight against familial dysautonomia as
he is personally invested in fighting
the disease on behalf of his friend.

projects included helping at a birthday
party for seniors at Temple Israel.

Alissa received her bachelor's degree
in education from Western Michigan
University. Josh graduated from the
University of California Davis, where he
earned his bachelor's and master's degrees
in education.
Alissa and Josh are teachers at Beverly
Hills High School in Beverly Hills, Calif. They
reside in Santa Monica, where the wedding is planned for July 2011.
