and Florence and Kenneth Lichtman;
brother, Harry Evans; other loving

the late Dr. Allen R. Soble.

GLORIA
STEINBERG, 86, of
Oak Park, died Dec.
15, 2010.
Her father was a
renowned Detroit
artist, which led to
Mrs.
Steinberg's sup-

port of the arts in
Detroit through her lifetime. She was
a devoted library assistant at the Oak
Park Library for 23 years and really
loved her job. She is remembered as a
kind, gentle, loving woman who will
be greatly missed.
Mrs. Steinberg is survived by her
daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea
Hartman and Tom Serowik of Royal
Oak, Sarah Hartman-Silow and
Charles Slow of Huntington Woods;
grandchildren, Shoshana Silow and
Naomi Silow. She is also survived by
Kate and Carson Lux and their daugh-
ter, Thea, as well as Arthur's children,
Lois and Alan Winer and Joel and
Florence Steinberg and their children,
Robert Winer and Lory Wolters-Winer,
Amy Winer, Diana and Keith Goldberg,
Jonathan Steinberg and Danielle
Steinberg.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Arthur Steinberg; cherished daughter
of the late Simon and the late Maybelle
Rosen.

Howard Torby of Lakehurst, N.J.;

Mr. Torby was the beloved husband
of the late Mildred Torby.
