GLORIA
STEINBERG, 86, of
Oak Park, died Dec.
15, 2010.
Her father was a

renowned Detroit
artist, which led
to Mrs. Steinberg's
Steinberg
support of the arts
in Detroit through
her life time. She was a devoted
library assistant at the Oak Park
Library for 23 years and really loved
her job. She is remembered as a kind,
gentle, loving woman who will be
greatly missed.
Mrs. Steinberg is survived by her
daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea
Hartman and Tom Serowik of Royal
Oak, Sarah Hartman-Silow and
Charles Silow of Huntington Woods;
grandchildren, Shoshana Silow and
Naomi Silow. She is also surived
by Kate and Carson Lux and their
daughter, Thea, as well as Arthur's
children, Lois and Alan Winer and

Joel and Florence Steinberg and
their children, Robert Winer and
Lory Wolters-Winer, Amy Winer,
Diana and Keith Goldberg, Jonathan
Goldberg and Danielle Goldberg.
She was the beloved wife of the
late Arthur Steinberg; cherished
daughter of the late Simon and the
late Maybelle Rosen.

BECKY LYNNE WARFEL, 65, of
Hazel Park, died Nov. 24, 2010.
She was an adoring friend to many
humans and all animals. Ms. Warfel
was a brilliant sociologist, who was
charitable to many non-profit orga-
nizations and a wondei-ful listener.
She was also known for her beauti-
fully wrapped gifts for her friends
and their pets. Ms. Warfel was a sen-
sitive human being who will not be
forgotten.
