recently in Pinehurst, N. C. Rabbi
David Nelson, rabbi emeritus of Congregation
Beth Shalom in Oak Park, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs.
James Rich Jr. of Asheboro, N.C. The groom
is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence Schwartz
of Bloomfield Hills.
The maid of honor was Charlotte Rich,
sister of the bride; the best man was Mark
Itskovitz. Bridesmaids were Beth Schwartz
and Nancie Schwartz, sisters of the groom;
Brittany Clay, Allison Darwin, Elizabeth
Hunter, Erica Loke and Laura Smith.
Flower girls were Elizabeth Hobbs, Faith Hobbs, Shea Hobbs, Tess Hobbs,
Virginia Hobbs and Kate Smith.
Groomsmen were Mac Rich, brother of the bride; Armin Michelsen, Nate
Schumer, Dr. Kevin Grant, Josh Herman and Sean Levine.
Walker Blair, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.
Adam and Caroline were honored to have their grandparents, William and
Irene Schumer of Bloomfield Hills, walk down the aisle.
The couple honeymooned in the Greek isles and reside in Los Angeles, Calif.

Buckfire 50th

avid and Vicky Buckfire of
Farmington Hills will celebrate
their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married Dec. 25, 1960. Mazel toy
is offered from their children Lisa and Joel
Elconin, Larry and Kelly Buckfire, Daniel
Buckfire, and grandchildren Dayna, Emily,
Kylie, Jack, Toby and Hayden. A formal fam-
ily celebration will take place upon their
return to Michigan from Florida.
