Bashoff, daughter of Lois and Allen Bashoff

of Detroit School of Law and an M.B.A.
from Wayne State University. He also holds
a master's in entertainment law from the
University of Westminster in London and
a master's in international sports law from
Anglia University in Cambridge, England. He
is an entertainment attorney and producer.
Marilyn graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor of arts in
American studies. She is a vice president, group copy supervisor with the
healthcare advertising unit of DraftFCB.
The couple reside in Manhattan. Their wedding is planned for May 30, 2011,
in Bergen County, N.J.

arilyn and Don Sachs of
Southfield, married on Dec.
9, 1950, recently celebrated
their 60th anniversary at a dinner hosted
by their children, Vicki and Stanley Cowen,
Debbie and Steven Blair and Bonnie and
Joel Gordon. Joining in the celebration were
grandchildren Lori, Erica, Emily, Eli and

r. Eugene and Reinart Gelzayd of
Bloomfield Hills will celebrate
their 50th wedding anniversary
on Dec. 18. Following a trip to Australia and
New Zealand, they shared their simchah with
their children, Dr. Bradford and Julie Gelzayd,
Michael and Allison Weinstein, Dena Tarson,
and grandchildren Justin, Evan, Lauren,
Phillip, Matthew, Lindsay and Dylan. They
are wished continued love, health and hap-
piness.
