Everybody made a friend; and it will be a day that everyone will remember because it was filled with so much happiness. Every person had a favorite part of the afternoon. Some first-graders espe- cially loved playing and hanging out with eighth-graders. Others loved participating in the four fun rotations we planned. The adorable first-graders were able to inter- act with the eighth-graders, making new friends, observing role models and learn- Emma Cutler and Hannah Rybak ing something new along the way. This experience allowed the eighth- graders to work together as a team. We became leaders and role models for the first-graders, who look up to us as the old- est students at school. We were so pleased seeing all of the bright smiles on the students' faces.
