ABE SHERMAN, 90, of Farmington
Hills, died Nov. 22, 2010.
He was the co-founder and owner
of Gillette Waste Material located in
Detroit. A World War II Army veteran,
he received a Bronze Star.
Mr. Sherman is survived by his son,
Larry Sherman of Farmington Hills;
daughter, Marlene Chess of Farmington
Hills; grandchildren, Lisa and Shawn
Stearn, Tracy and Allan Weitzman;
great-grandchildren, Jonah and Riley
Steam, Jacob and Abbey Weitzman;
sisters-in-law, Dorothy Sherman, Joyce
Sherman.
He was the beloved husband for 36
years of the late Rose Edith Sherman;
loving brother of the late Reuben
Sherman, the late Carl Sherman; dear
father-in-law of the late Murray Chess.

Shevin, Nadine Shevin, Eveline Shevin,
Stephanie Finck and Adam Finck; lov-
ing nieces and nephews.
Dr. Shevin was the beloved son of the
late William and the late Rose Shevin.
