Latke Vodka co-chairs Jared Goldman of
Royal Oak and Rachel Lachover of West
Bloomfield, a host committee of about 24
people, and the use of social networking

grown into one of the biggest social events
of the year.
"I think more and more people under-
stand what it means to be part of Detroit's
young Jewish community: said Jessica
Goodwin of Southfield, a YAD campaign
associate. "We have a really strong, young,
vibrant Jewish community. People who live
out-of-state are seeing it and people who
live instate are seeing it. There's a strong
calling to stay in the community and get
involved."
