Norm worapi s ALAN NATHAN, 88, of Farmington Hills, died Nov. 9, 2010. He was an insurance sales- man and a com- mander of Joseph Nathan L. Bale Post 474 of the Jewish War Veterans. He was also a past president and per- manent board member of BBYO, board member and life member of over 50 years of the Jewish Historical Society, past president of Henry Morgenthau Lodge of B'nai B'rith and bowling league and a past president of Temple Israel Treasurers. Mr. Nathan is survived by his wife, Ida E. Nathan; daughters, Deborah Ann Nathan of Canada, Dr. Muriel Helene Nathan of Vermont; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews He was the loving brother of the late Daniel Nathan, the late Dorothy Sternberg and the late Lois Field; the dear brother-in-law of the late Gertrude Nathan, the late George Sternberg, the late Samuel Field and the late Beatrice and the late Meyer Sturman. Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
