SHIRLEY RUZUMNA, 73, of West Bloomfield, died Nov. 3, 2010. She was an active member for 27 years of the Congregation Shaarey Zedek Sisterhood. She received Ruzumna the Woman of Valor award in May of 2010. Mrs. Ruzumna was also active as a volunteer with the League for Conservative Judaism, JARC, and was the social director for the Lafanta Community Organization in Florida. She is survived by her beloved husband for 51 years, Edward Ruzumna; son, Steven Ruzumna of West Bloomfield; daughter and son-in-law, Ilene and Larry Lubell of Chicago; brother and sister-in-law, Myron and Bluma Kazdan of Rochester Hills; sisters and brothers-in-law, Arlene and Raymond Zimberg of Florida, Frances Rott of Florida, Betty and Marvin Adell of Dallas, Texas; grandchild, Lane Lubell. Mrs. Ruzumna was the loving sister of the late Margaret Siporin; dear sister- in-law of the late Irving Siporin, the late Marvin Rott.
