died Nov. 2, 2010.
He was a home-
builder and then went
into the jewelry busi-
ness for several years
as a manager and then

He is survived by his wife, Florence
Kasoff; daughters and son-in-law,
Sandy and Allen Cohn of Southfield,
Stacy Slotkowski of West Bloomfield;
son, Richard Kasoff of West Bloomfield;
grandchildren, Shaun Kasoff, Jenny and
Brian Schwartz, Jason and Erika Cohn,
Justin Slotkowski, Zachary Slotkowski;
great-grandchildren, Eli Schwartz, Jonah
Schwartz; brother and sister-in-law,
Herman and Sylvia Kasoff of Farmington
Hills; sister and brother-in-law, Sheila
and Leo Ordin of Phoenix, Ariz.

Prior to retirement
she was the director
of Library Services
for the Wayne County
Katz
School District. She
was also head of Library Services for
the Oak Park School District.
Mrs. Katz is survived by her daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Marsha and
Harry Eisenberg of Florida, Minda and
Nachman Kataczinsky of Nevada; grand-
daughters, Emily and Jennifer Eisenberg;
nephews and nieces, Dr. David and
Carole Drachler, Ruth Drachler and
Warren Handel; brother-in-law and
sisters-in-law, Nathan and Esther Katz,
Edith Katz and Natalie Lankin. She is
also survived by Evelyn Noveck (the late
Harold) and Paul Sislin (the late Phyllis).
Mrs. Katz was the beloved wife of
the late Boris Katz; the cherished sister
of the late Evelyn Drachler; the loving
aunt of the late Judith Handel; the dear
sister-in-law of the late Harry Katz and
the late Richard Lankin.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
