MAXWELL HANDELMAN, 80, of

Northglenn, Colo., died Oct. 19,
2010.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon
Golob; son, Jordan Mazo; brother,
Larry D. Golob; sister and brother-
in-law, Elaine and Melvyn Erdos;
niece and nephews, Alyson and Joe
Carr and Eric Erdos; mother-in-
law, Beatrice Stein; brother-in-law,
Lawrence Stein. Also survived by
loving family and friends.
Mr. Golob was the cherished
son of the late Philip and the late
Thelma Golob.
Interment at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may be

He was a retired electrical engineer
for the city of Detroit.
Mr. Handelman is survived by his

JANEWAY, 87, of

died Oct. 19, 2010.
He graduated
from the University
of Michigan with a
degree in mechani-

and owned and operated Janeway
Engineering Company, an automotive
testing laboratory in Troy.
He also holds several U.S. patents
in automotive engine design and was
an active member of the Society of
Automotive Engineers for 50 years.
Mr. Janeway was a naval officer in
World War II and sailed in the South
Pacific as well as being an avid sailor
in his private life.
He is survived by his wife, Betty
Jo Goldman Janeway; daughter and
son-in-law, Karen and David Davis of
Israel; son and daughter-in-law, Dr.
