JVS Fashion Show
Saks Fifth Avenue pulled out all
the stops for the Oct. 7 Fall for
Fashion Show benefit for the
JVS Women to Work Program.
Designer Rickie Freeman for Teri
Jon brought elegant evening wear
to fit every figure, from little
black dresses with rhinestone
trim to brocade strapless cocktail
dresses with jackets to full-length
one-shoulder gowns.
Among the guests who enjoyed
the delicious hors d'oeuvres and
delectable fashions were Lori
Barron, Judy Greenwald, JVS COO
Leah Rosenbaum, Linda Klein,
Jackie Layne, Debra Ribitwer,
Barbara Gutman, Eva Shapiro
and Sandee Nabat.
Several mother-daughter
guests commented on the stag-
geringly high heels and short
skirts that drew applause. The
fun-filled evening raised more
than $8,000 for the JVS Women
to Work Program, which assists
women to re-enter the workplace
after significant life-changing
events. ❑
