ObamaCare Facts

According to the Congressional Budget Office figures (which Gary Peters relied on when voting for
Obamacare), we will still have 23 million uninsured in 2019 after the program is fully in force for six
years. Over 40% of the uninsured will still be uninsured after we have spent over a trillion dollars to

provide "coverage for everyone"!

The Congressional Budget Office figures also disclose that half of the uninsured who get coverage
under ObamaCare will get their insurance not from a commercial plan but will end up being

thrown onto the Medicaid program.

The financing of Obamacare was based on providing only six years of services (the program doesn't
fully kick in until 2014) but funding it with ten years of taxes and borrowing.

ObamaCare diverts $500 billion of your Medicare taxes out of Medicare and into providing subsi-
dies to get working individuals and businesses to buy health insurance and into expanding the
failed Medicaid program. Arbitrary payment cuts and government-mandated health care rationing

disguised as "evidence-based care" will be the result.

Congress' current plan to cut Medicare is to cut physician payments by 21 0/0, causing many doctors
to exit the program. Seniors will have to find new doctors who are willing to participate in this pro-
gram or will have to pay their doctors out-of-pocket to continue receiving care.

Despite Gary Peters' claims that you will be able to keep your current health care coverage if you
1 like it, the legislation actually states that you can NOT keep it if your employer makes any changes
to it or drops the plan entirely.

If an employee loses employer-sponsored coverage, they will face a choice of spending $10-$20
thousand on health insurance or pay 10% of the cost of health insurance in "uninsured tax."
Because ObamaCare guarantees people can purchase healthcare at any point (even with pre-
existing conditions), many people will choose the latter and the number of uninsured
Americans may end up increasing under ObamaCare!
