Finck, son of Karen and Howard Finck and brother of Addison, will be called to the bimah as he celebrates his bar mitzvah at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Saturday, Oct. 2. His very Finck proud grandparents are JoAnne and Dr. Jerome Finck, and Dorothy Sadowski. He is also the grandchild of the late Robert Sadowski. Alexander is a student at Charyl Stockwell Prep Academy. His most mean- ingful mitzvah project was raising funds to purchase honorary bricks at Temple Israel. Cathryn Natalie Goldman (Shayna Natania), daughter of Lori and Howard Goldman, was called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Sept. 25, at Temple Shir Shalom in West Goldman Bloomfield. She is the sis- ter of Benjamin, Elizabeth, Samuel and Grace and the granddaughter of Irene Goreta and Eugene Goreta. She is also the granddaughter of the late Shirley Goldman and the late Clement Goldman. Cate is a student at Derby Middle School in Birmingham. Among her various mitz- vah projects, one of the most meaningful was leading Kabbalat Shabbat services with seniors at American House in Southfield. Jillian Gordner (Shira) and her parents, Wendy Sadoff and Michael Gordner, and brother Andrew and sister Nicole, will celebrate her bat mitzvah on Saturday, Oct. 2, at Adat Gordner Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills. Proud grandparents are Florence and Charles Sadoff. Jillian is also the granddaughter of the late Shirley and Al Gordner. Jillian is a seventh-grade student at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills.
