educators, mental health practitioners and
parents of students with diverse learning
and behavioral challenges. The forum will
be at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, at the Anita
Naftaly Family Circle Conference Center in
Congregation Shaarey Zedek, Southfield.
Dr. Michele Borba will speak on
"Extreme Makeover Youth Edition: Tools
for Constructing Good Behavior, Strong
Michele Borba
Character, and Resilience in Children and
Teens."
Borba is an educator, author, parenting
expert, and child and adolescent expert.
Advanced registration is $20; $25 at the door. Refreshments will be
served. CEU credits are available for social workers through Jewish Family

to expand its presence. WOW! now offers the Jewish network as part of
its Free On Demand cable television service. The network already is on
Comcast and Bright House.
Shalom TV, a nonprofit Jewish network, features a weekly Jewish Film
