called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, Sept.
25, at Temple Beth
Rothenberg
El in Bloomfield
Township. Sharing
in the simchah will
be proud sister Carly and grand-
parents Evelyn and Fred Endelman
of West Bloomfield and Seymour
Rothenberg of Walled Lake. Brandon
is also the grandson of the late Rosa
Rothenberg.
Brandon is a student at Dunckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills.
His most meaningful mitzvah proj-
ect was volunteering at Friendship
Circle in West Bloomfield, where he
assisted children playing baseball in
the Miracle League and helped with
sports nights.

Emma Lauren
Salesin, daughter
of Sheree and Brian
Salesin, will lead
the congregation at
Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield on
Friday, Sept. 24, as
Salesin
she celebrates her
bat mitzvah. She is
the sister of Blake.
Her grandparents are Marilyn and
Jerome Salesin. Her late grandpar-
ents are Vivian and Heinz Seiferheld.
Sharing in the joy will be her proud
great-grandmother Marian Guttman.
Emma attends Birmingham
Covington School. Among her various
mitzvah projects, she felt the most
meaningful was collecting and donat-
ing food and supplies to Lighthouse
of Oakland County.

Connor Andrew
Tukel of Franklin
will become a
bar mitzvah
Saturday, Sept. 25,
at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek in
Southfield. He is the
Tukel
son of Debby and
David Tukel and the
brother of Bradley
and Matthew Tukel.
Connor is the grandson of Idelle
Neuvirth, Gail Tukel, the late Ernest
Neuvirth and the late Floyd Tukel.

Connor attends Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. Among his various
mitzvah projects, he felt volunteer-
ing at Fleischman Residence in West
Bloomfield was quite meaningful.
