ill Baskin and Jorge Castro were
married recently at Cobblestone
Manor in Auburn Hills. A friend of
the couple, James Martin, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Debra and
Sheldon Baskin of Novi and Diane and
Keith Starr of Oak Park. The groom is the
son of Elizabeth and Abimael Castro of
Killeen, Texas.
Maids of honor were Jillian Krohn and
Lindsay Stern, friends of the bride. Best
men were Jeffrey Baskin, brother of the
bride, and Javier Castro, brother of the
groom.
The bride was married with a ring passed down from her great-grandparents.
A reception was held at Rochester Mills Beer Company.
Jill is in the process of completing a Psy.D. in clinical psychology at the
Michigan School of Professional Psychology and is employed as a therapist and
college instructor.
Jorge received his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and works
on the Community Team for Canonical Ltd., sponsors of the Ubuntu project.
The couple will honeymoon in Mexico at the end of August. They reside in
Royal Oak.

anet and Jerry Liebow of Farmington
Hills will celebrate their 50th wed-
ding anniversary on Oct. 15. Sharing
with them will be their children and grand-
children, Sondra and Peter Stuart, Brandi
and Matthew Goodman, Ashley and Ryan
Simmons and Zach and Alex Stuart. Jerry
celebrated his 80th birthday on Sept. 7 with
