MC Huron Valley-Sinai
Hospital will host Healthy
Harvest Bash for Healthy
Generations on Sunday, Sept. 12, on
the hospital's campus, 1 William
Carls Drive, in Commerce.
Health-related and fun activities
for all family members will be avail-
able at no charge from 1 to 3 p.m.
The Radio Disney D-Tour will
kick off its new MOVE IT! program
at 1 p.m. to encourage fitness for
children.
Other children's activities will
include bounce houses, miniature
golf, tot trots (at 2 and 2:30 p.m.)
and crafts presented by the Ann
Arbor Hands-on Art Museum.
Pet therapy dogs will be on hand
to meet children.
Health screenings will be offered
to adults as well as hospital tours
and demonstrations of electronic
medical records. Family-friendly
cooking demonstrations will be pre-
sented at 1:30 and 2:15 p.m. in the
hospital's Krieger Center.
Winners of the Oakland Press'
Cutest Grandparents Photo Contest

will receive their awards at 1:45 p.m.
Families can have family photo-
graphs taken for $5.
People who tour the hospital can
enter a prize drawing for a 46-inch
Sony Bravia HD TV; advance regis-
trants at www.hvsh.org/openhouse
can enter a drawing for an Apple
iPad.
Refreshments and parking are
free.

the community a chance to visit the
hospital, meet some of our physi-
cians and staff members, and learn
what's new here and in health care
overall.
