Nora had a plan. It would
bring her ex-husband, Jose,
and the rest of their family
together for a magnificent
Passover feast. But there is a
flaw in her plan- a mysterious
photograph from the past,
hidden under the bed, which
leads Jose to reexamine their
relationship and rediscover

App Can Save Lives
OnCall Defender, can be downloaded from
the iTunes App Store. Users can subscribe
to a 24-hour monitoring service that sends
police or EMS to the phone's location.
The app was created by Fred and
Marsha Newman, natives of Bloomfield
Hills and Farmington Hills respectively.
Plans start at $6.99 per month for the
panic alarm, $9.99 for the medical alert or
$11.99 for both. With the user's profile and
the phone's GPS tracking, first respond-
ers have access to information such as a
restraining order or a medical condition;
police will know if the alarm was sent
silently under duress or as a siren to scare
someone off; and they will immediately
know the user's location.
