After 32 years in the restaurant
game, Mark Papazian says he is
devoting his entire time now to the legal
profession ... Mark is considered among
the best around as a fine divorce lawyer
with Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton in Troy.
It was a wonderful trip, remarked Mark,
whose restaurants brought many fond
thoughts ... Especially the first one, his
Hunter House in Birmingham, where
Mark still loves those standout Hunter
House hamburgers that held a high
taste bud esteem of so many like Barry
Solomon and a long list of others.
As a youngster, he sure never dreamed
that one day Mark would have his own
hamburger place ... While growing up,
Hunter House was his favorite because, he
says, it had the tastiest burgers and were
so inexpensive ... In fact, making his
own sliders, which he did so many times
at Hunter House, and eating them almost
every day was certainly far and away not
even close to one day becoming a reality.
Mark's other restaurant ventures
included Hunter House Plus in Detroit,
Maximilian's in Royal Oak, John Laffrey's
Steaks-On-the-Hearth in Detroit, Jukebox
in Royal Oak, etc.
