July 7, 2010.
He was a produce manager at Farmer
Jack for 34 years.
Mr. Simon is survived by his wife, Shirley
Simon; son, Howard Simon of California and
his fiancee, Deise Granja; brothers-in-law
and sisters-in-law, Harold Gross, Marsha and
Harold Baker and Harriet Friedman; nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.
He was the loving father of the late Dr.
Edward Simon; the dear brother of the late

INEZ SWEET, 90, of West Bloomfield, died
July 8, 2010.
She is survived by her daughters and son-
in-law, Laurel Sherman of West Bloomfield,
Joyce and Michael Cantor of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, Amy and Josh
Cantor, Jessica (Josiah) Waxman and Emily
Sherman (fiance, James Crank); many other
loving family members and friends.
Mrs. Sweet was the beloved wife of the
late Carl Sweet; sister of the late David (the
late Gloria) Josephson; mother-in-law of
the late Mitchell Sherman.
Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery
in Birmingham. Contributions may be

ARTHUR WEINTROB, 92, of Livonia,
died July 9, 2010.
He was the owner of Trob Hardware
Store.
Mr. Weintrob is survived by his wife
of 69 years, Florence Weintrob; daughter
and son-in-law, Carol and Dr. Bernard
Kirzner of California; son and daughter-
in-law, Dr. Steven and Karen Weintrob of
California; grandchildren, Lisa Kirzner,
Jonathan Kirzner and fiance, Shira
Freidlan, Chris Weintrob and Libby
Weintrob.
He was the dear brother of the late
Robert Weintrob.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
