Holy Rollers depicts bad Jews, but (his and Yosef's favorite word), but that doesn't mean it's bad for the what drives him remains perpetually Jews. Perfectly watchable as it unfolds unclear. Sam doesn't buy stuff with on the screen, it's too superficial his money, or brag about his growing and unmemorable to leave any last- wad. And if he's rejecting and rebel- ing anti-Jewish impression. If only ling against his honest, decent father's small-potatoes existence, that's unlike- the same could be said of Bernie Madoff. C ecile Kaplan, 81, of Livonia has been a big fan of Adam Lambert, 28 and "a nice [Jewish] boy," since his first appearance on the eighth season of American Idol. So, when her daughter, Janet Kaplan, 56, also of Livonia, read that Lambert was to appear at the Royal Oak Music Theatre on June 18, as part of his ongoing Glam Nation Tour, she decided that taking her mom to the show would be a perfect Mother's Day gift. Janet had heard venues were selling out fast so she went to the box office early on the day tickets went on sale, waited in line in the rain for three hours and bought a group of tickets. Fifteen minutes later, the show was sold out. When Cecile's granddaughter, Julie Kaplan, 24, of Ann Arbor, a third- year medical student at University of Michigan, heard her grandmother was going to the performance, she decided to use one of the tickets — not because she was a Lambert fan but JOIN US FOR LIMITED TIME ONLY Julie Kaplan, Cecile Kaplan and Janet Kaplan at the Royal Music Theatre to protect Grandma from the general admission standing-room only crowd (and also to watch Grandma turn into a teenager again!). And, now," she said, "the rest of my family understands what the fuss is all about."
