Moving Towards New Media

With the continued support of
the community, the Southeastern
Michigan Jewish AllianceTM has fea-
tured a four-page spread in the Detroit
Jewish News offering the must know
ins and outs of the young adult Jewish
community.

This week, we are launching
our official online website,
www.semjalliance.org. The mission
of the Southeastern Michigan Jewish
AllianceTM website will be to create a
professional and entrepreneurial set-
ting for networking, funding and busi-
ness development. Our long term goal
is to establish and provide ongoing
services and support (both financial
and educational), and mentorship to
aid in job stability and growth.

lived in New York City and
Washington, D.C., and despite
the great experiences I had in
those bustling cities, metro
Detroit has always been home.
Here, I can breathe. I can pick
blueberries in the summer with
my children and build a business
with unlimited potential. People
wave a thank-you when you let
them drive in front of you and
the community rallies around its
members, in good and in bad.
I never run out of things to do,
business possibilities, and wonder-
ful people."

The regular four-page print edition including the "Singles Scene," "Family Scoop," "Michigan Business," and "Job Hunt"
pages will continue to be included in the Detroit Jewish News as its popularity is only growing. While the website will serve
as more of a professional directory, the paper will still mirror this content while having fun youthful advice and events for the
20-30 something core audience.
