Israel and Hezbollah, Iran has taken the
lead in fighting the great enemies of the
Arab world: the U.S. and Israel."
As Glick explains, the Arab masses
embraced Iran after Israel fought
Hezbollah, the Islamic republic's Shiite
Arab proxy, to a draw in Lebanon in
2006. And Hamas' willingness to serve
as Iran's Palestinian proxy has given
Iran complete control over the
most active fronts against "the
hated Jews."

Glick
believe that Israel and America
are, in Glick's words, "demonic,
murderous nations that kill innocent
people for entertainment."
Just last week, Israeli naval comman-
dos were attacked by an Islamic lynch
mob aboard the Turkish ship Mavi
Marmara, which was trying to run
Israel's sea blockade of Gaza.
How telling is that?
Turkey — a decade ago Israel's most-
important regional ally — now stands
with Iran in the Islamic and global
assault on Israel. As Glick puts it, "Iran
and Turkey understand that attacking
the Jewish state is the fastest route to
the top of the Muslim world."
I pray President Obama isn't being
duped. 0

Wolf Gruca arrived in Detroit from

Poland in 1949. Having survived the
ghetto and the loss of his entire family
in the camps, he was intent on rebuild-
ing his life here, but he did not speak
English and had no money. Someone
suggested he try Hebrew Free Loan.
"I remember like it was yesterday, I
talked to the case worker and said
when I learned the language and
found a job, I would repay the loan."
Over time, the experienced tool maker
did pay back the loan, and raised his
family here: children, grandchildren
and great-grandchildren, all benefiting
from HFL's investment.
Years later, Mr. Gruca, who never
forgot what he calls "the good deed
Hebrew Free Loan did for me,"
walked into the HFL office and made
a generous donation.
"Nobody made me, it was done of
my own free will, because, thank God, I
have the ability to do it. When times in
Detroit are so difficult, and people
cannot find jobs, and they need help, I
feel prMledged to give a donation to
Hebrew Free Loan. They helped me,
and now they can help someone else."
