AZZAN HENRY ROSENBLUM is the Dean of
the H.L. Miller Cantorial School and Col-
lege of Jewish Music at the Jewish Theologi-
cal Seminary, and the first Hazzan to hold that position. A
graduate of Brooklyn College, he completed his Cantorial stud-
ies at the Cantors Institute of JTS and returned to serve on the
JTS faculty as an instructor of Hazzanut.
Hazzan Rosenblum has been Hazzan at White Meadow Temple
in Rockaway, New Jersey, Hazzan of Oheb Shalom Congregation
in South Orange, New Jersey, and Hazzan of North Suburban Syn-
agogue Beth El in Highland Park, Illinois. He conducted the New
Jersey Cantors Concert Ensemble, has sung with the Zamir
Chorale of New York, and served on the board of the American
Society for Jewish Music. From 1997 to 1999 he was President of
the Cantors Assembly.
Hazzan Rosenblum will co-conduct services with Hazzan
Daniel Gross on Friday evening and Shabbat morning and will
speak to the congregation on Friday evenirid, on Shabbat fol-
lowing Kiddush, and at the Seudah Shelishit.
