Maxwell is a student at Orchard Lake Middle School in West Bloomfield. His mitzvah projects have included working with seniors at the Prentis Apartments. Jillian Tess Terebelo (Racheli), daughter of Suzi and Bennett Terebelo, will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah at Congregation Shaarey Zedek Terebelo Southfield on Saturday, May 22. Sharing in the simchah will be her sister Ariana and grandmothers Ruth Blackman and Edith Butrimovitz. She is also the granddaughter of the late Nathan Butrimovitz, the late Saul Blackman and the late George Terebelo. Jillian is a student at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills. Her most meaning- ful mitzvah project was the creation of yarn dolls to cheer up kids stay- ing in Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak Children's Hospital. 23RD ANNUAL MOREL FEAST Lauren Elyse Winkelman (Rachel Lea), daughter of Julie and Richard Winkelman, will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday, May 22, Winkelman at Congregation Shaarey Zedek Southfield. Participating in the service will be her sisters Amy and Katelyn, grandparents Susan and Bart Lewis and Sally and Stuart Winkelman. Lauren is the great- granddaughter of the late Dorothy and the late Peter Brown. Lauren is in seventh-grade at West Hills Middle School. For her mitzvah project, she volunteered to work with children with special needs at the Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield. Brianna Lia Zlatopolsky, daughter of Gregory and Alla Zlatopolsky and sister of Ashley, became a bat mitz- vah on Saturday, May 15, at Congregation Zlatopolsky Sharey Zedek Southfield. She is the granddaughter of Mark and Asya Nisnevich and Klara Zlatopolsky and the late Leo Zlatopolsky. Brianna attends Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills and has participated in many mitzvah projects.
