her bat mitzvah at

Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield on Friday, May 21.
Her proud grandmother is Eleanor
Meyers. She is also the grandchild of
the late Gail and the late Dr. Daniel
Cohen and the late Dr. Edward
Meyers.
Gillian attends Abbott Middle
School in West Bloomfield. She felt
participating in the ALS Walk was
the most meaningful of her several
mitzvah projects.

Joshua Isaac Moss,
son of Jody and Eric
Moss, will read from
the Torah as he cel-
ebrates his bar mitz-
vah Saturday, May
22, at Temple Israel
in West Bloomfield.
Moss
He is the brother
of Noah and the
grandchild of Beverly Stewart, Vicky
and Robert Stewart and Carla and
Howard Moss.
Joshua is a student at Dunckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills.
He felt it was very meaningful as
part of his mitzvah experience to
prepare meals and help serve din-
ners to the homeless.

Daniel Nathan will
lead the congrega-
tion at Temple
Shir Shalom in
West Bloomfield
on Friday, May 21,
as he celebrates his
bar mitzvah. He is

the son of Abbey
and Ken Nathan
and the brother of Alec and Jack.
Sharing in the celebration will be
grandparents Sondra and Bennett
Nathan and Ann and Miles Brasch.
Daniel attends Derby Middle
School in Birmingham. His most
meaningful mitzvah project was col-
lecting new and gently used shoes
to donate to Soles 4 Souls, a charity
that distributes shoes around the
world.

vah projects included helping those
with special needs at Friendship
Circle in West Bloomfield.

unteering at Fleischman Residence,
assisting in the jewelry class.
