Why was the MYFTP created?
Adv. •P.;:chiChoreography
MYFTP was created to attract and retain the greatest number of quali-
fied students into our school. The initiative is meant to encourage fami-
lies to apply who might have assumed they were ineligible for financial
consideration.

either direction) during their child's four
years at FJA, the school will modify the
fees accordingly. The only documents
required each year will be the family's
tax return and a brief questionnaire.

about future tuition costs, the
board of directors of Frankel Jewish
Academy (FJA) in West Bloomfield has
created a Multi-Year Flexible Tuition
Program.
The new program expands the range
of families able to participate and
enables them to plan for multiple years
of education. It also ensures funding
availability for more middle-income
families.
"As we looked at our former program','
said Danny Kurzmann, president of FJAs
board of directors, "we understood how
many middle class families interested
in FJAS dual curriculum education were
denied financial consideration.
"Other families ruled themselves out
before ever making inquiries. This new
initiative enables us to attract and retain
academically qualified students whose
families previously felt, or were told, they
were not eligible for financial aid'."
The simplified application process
is completely confidential. Families no

In no way whatsoever does applying to the Multi-Year Flexible Tuition
Program negatively impact a student's admission. If anything, the exis-
tence of the MYFTP means that academically qualified students who
might never have considered FJA will do so now.
How is it different from the former tuition assistance
program?
With MYFTP, you fill out the financial application forms once — at the
time of your initial application.
Your family will know at the outset your financial responsibility over the
course of your child's years at FJA.
How do I apply?
Please contact Cindy Baker, FJA's COO at cbaker@frankelja.org and ask
for an information packet.
