Back To Back?
Birmingham Marian High School girls
soccer coach Barry Brodsky guided the
Mustangs to back-to-back state champi-
onships in 2003 and 2004. He hopes to
repeat the feat this spring.
Sixteen players are back from last
year's Marian team, which won the
Division 2 state title. Brodsky, in his
ninth year as coach, said this year's
team has plenty of individual talent,
but must develop the mental toughness
needed to fight its way through the state
tournament.
After losing to DeWitt and tying
Rochester in its season-opening games,
Marian won seven straight.

Free Workshop Reveals 7 Ways to Slash College Costs
T
he College Planning Coach is
sponsoring a free workshop for the
parents of college bound high school
students at the Baldwin Library at
10:30 am on June 5 th.
"A college education is one of the most
important gifts we give our children. I'm a lot
like you, I believe college is not an option but a
requirement for our children to advance in life
and become productive community members",
said Mike of the College Planning Coach.
The College Planning Coach educates parents
about what to do to get a $7,000 to $15,000
college tuition discount, regardless of their
income. "Many families have saved money for
their children's education but the cost of college
has risen by 35% since 2001. It's been tough for
families, I've seen instances where a famiy's
education fund lost 40%", continued Mike. The
workshop will focus on little know ways to get
FREE money for college regardless of how much
money you make.
"Simply put, we show families the truth that
they aren't hearing anywhere else about how the
college process really works, how they can get
their child into a top school easily, help that
student pick a career that will suit them well, and
get that tuition discount they deserve."
They would know, because they've worked
with hundreds of families ranging from single
moms to corporate CEO's. The workshop has
been featured on Fox 2, AM 950, and Detroit
News. He is regularily interviewed by the likes of
Money Magazine about the subject of college.
Mike is the author of the special report
"Tuition discounts for families like your's." He is
special contributing writer for student and athlete.
Even if you make a high six figure income, the
colleges still may give your family a tuition
discount. You can put the money you saved
towards their future.
Mike guaranteed if parents come to the
workshop and don't learn 2 new things about the
college process he will donate $75.00 to their
favorite charity.
