SAVE MONEY! Local Hadassah Plans Israel Trip A nnette and Russell Meskin of Sylvan Lake once again will lead a trip to Israel for the Greater Detroit Chapter of Hadassah. Annette has led more than 25 groups to Israel and was instrumental in designing an itinerary for everyone, whether it is your first or 50th trip to Israel. The Oct. 10-21 trip is open to the community at large. The tour will explore Israel from the Golan Heights to the Dead Sea and feature updates with prominent Israeli politicians and journalists as well as meetings with researchers and doctors from Hadassah Hospital. Also expect a VIP tour of the newly constructed Sara Wetsman Davidson Tower at Hadassah Hospital, a visit to an Israel Defense Forces base and time in Detroit's partnership community in the Central Galilee. The group will explore Herod's Fortress on Masada, swim in the Dead Sea and dine in a Bedouin tent, along with an exciting visit to Hahula Valley to watch thousands of birds migrating for the winter. The tour goes to the mystical city of Safed, a Hadassah Youth Aliyah Village and many muse- ums, including the Terror and Intelligence Museum. Special guides will lead participants through Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Tiberias as well as the Old City and archeological digs.
