MANKOFF, 94, of Osprey, Fla., formerly of Farmington Hills, died at his treasured Florida home on May 15, 2010• He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1916 and graduated with honors from Brooklyn College with a bachelor of sci- ence, served in the U.S. Army Medial Corps during World War II and had a very successful 40-year career with Baumritter (Ethan Allen) Corp., retiring to Florida in 1981. His family feels that he is best described by the words of the poet W.E.
