Shelli Liebman Dorfman Senior Writer I ncluded in the fun at the May 2 Chabad Jewish Center of Commerce Lag b'Omer celebration was a soccer game, a barbecued lunch — and a visit by a funny magician named the "Balloon Baffoon." "Great food, balloon show, moon bounce, sports and perfect weather were enjoyed by young and old alike at the Clara Miller Park in Wolverine Lake,' said the Center's Estie Greenberg. "While the kids bounced in the moon bounce, the adults shmoozed and ate." Added her husband, Rabbi Schneor Greenberg, "Lag b'Omer is a day of unity and joy, and we are glad to once again celebrate a happy occasion with the Commerce Township area Jewish community." Guests enjoyed the event, leaving the park with balloons in shapes from giraffes and puppies to bow and arrows and colorful parrots. "The balloon guy was amazing and the food was deli- cious," said Diana Freilich of White Lake. "It was great seeing everyone out- side and having fun." ❑ Edward J.
