Horwitz 60th

ally and Morton Horwitz of West
Bloomfield celebrated their 60th
wedding anniversary on April 16.
They were married in New Haven, Conn.,
and moved to Michigan in 2005. As part of
the celebration, Morton chanted the hafto-
rah at Congregation B'nai Moshe in West
Bloomfield. Their children, Dr. Leonard
and Marilyn Horwitz of Cincinnati, Arthur
and Gina Horwitz of West Bloomfield and
Laurie and Daniel Duhan of Baltimore, 12
grandchildren and eight great-grandchil-
dren wish them happiness and continuing
good health.

Michele earned her bachelor of arts in
English and teaching certificate at the
University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She
will finish her master of arts in English
education at the University of North
Carolina-Charlotte this summer. She
teaches at Carolina International School in
Harrisburg, N. C.
Roy earned his bachelor of science in business administration at the
University of North Carolina-Charlotte and will complete his master of busi-
ness administration at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C., this spring. He
serves as the graduate assistant coach for Winthrop University's men's and
women's tennis programs.
A July wedding is planned in Ann Arbor.
