He is the brother of Jordan and Sydney. His proud grandparents are Adrian and Marvin Aronovitz and Arlene Licht. He is also the grandchild of the late Ronald Licht. His late great- grandparents are Clara and Sam Licht, Jeanette and Wm. Simon Gottlieb, Sophie and Harry Aronovitz, and Lillian and Irvin Meckler. Anthony is a student at Detroit Country Day School in Beverly Hills. His most meaningful mitzvah project was helping with bingo at the Meer Apartments in West Bloomfield. Rebecca Hope Bloom (Rachel Chava) will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday, May 1, at Temple Beth El in Bloomfield Bloom Township. Sharing in the simchah will be her proud parents, Aileen Bloom and Jim Bloom, and brother Evan, grandparents Robert Leichtman and Dr. Michael and Carol Bloom and great-grandmother Ida Goldenberg. Becca is also the grand- daughter of the late Sharon Leichtman. Becca attends West Hills Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. One of her many meaningful mitzvah experiences has been volunteering every Sunday as a teacher's aide in a second grade classroom at Temple Beth El religious school. Natali Eden Barish, daughter of Mary and Dan Barish, will be called to the bimah to read from the Torah at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield on Friday, April 30, Barish as she celebrates her bat mitzvah. She is the sister of Gabe and the grandchild of Marla and Nicholas Miron. Thrilled to be sharing in the simchah will be her grandpar- ents Bruria and Benjamin Barish. Natali is a student at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills. Volunteering at the Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield was the mitzvah project she felt to be most meaningful. April 29 * 2010 JN Kendall Michelle Coden will celebrate her bat mitzvah as she reads from the Torah at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield on Friday, April 30. She is the Coden daughter of Karen and Andy Coden. Sharing in her joy will be her sisters Mackenzie and Megan and her brother Kyle.Her proud grandparents are Barbara and Ted Coden and Geraldine Kraus. She is also the grandchild of the late Edmond Kraus. Kendall attends Walnut Creek Middle School in West Bloomfield. As part of her several mitzvah projects, she custom-made and then donated blankets for underprivileged children through Temple Israel. Spencer Eric Cohn will celebrate his bar mitzvah during Havdalah services, Saturday, May 1, at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield. He is the son of Melanie Cohn and Harry Cohn and the brother of Corey. Sharing in the simchah will be his proud grandpar- ents, Elaine and Victor Koblin and Susan Cohn. He is also the grandchild of the late Eli Cohn. Spencer attends Orchard Lake Middle School in West Bloomfield. The mitzvah project he felt was the most meaningful was planting flowers at a JARC home. Aaron Felsenfeld (Natan Pesach), son of Mark and Laurel Felsenfeld and brother of Emily and Rachel, will lead the congrega- tion of Temple Shir Felsenfeld Shalom in West Bloomfield as a bar mitzvah on Saturday, May 1. He is the grandchild of William and Shirley Felsenfeld, and Charles and Marlene Toby. Aaron attends Warner Middle School in Farmington Hills. He regularly performs bikur cholim at Courtyard Manor Assisted Living. Robert Eytan Goldstein will cel- ebrate his bar mitzvah as he reads from the Torah on Saturday, May 1, at Congregation B'nai Moshe in West Bloomfield. He is the son of Julie and Raphael Goldstein and the brother of Andrea and Elan. His proud grand- Goldstein mothers are Roslyn Garber and Regina Goldstein. He is also the grandson of the late Arnold M. Katz and the late Reuven Goldstein. Robert is a seventh-grade student at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills. He found his most meaningful mitzvah project to be volunteering at the Friendship Circle of West Bloomfield. Jacob Alex Jaisinghani, son of Lisa and Raj Jaisinghani of Troy, was called to the Torah as a bar mitz- vah on Saturday, April 24, at Congregation Jaisinghani Shir Tikvah in Troy. He is the proud older brother of Zack, Noah and Zoe. Jacob is also the grandson of Rosalie Yourofsky, Guri Jaisinghani, and Jack and Paula Kort. Sharing in this simcah was his great-bubbie Mary Beltzman of California, who could not attend. Jacob is a student at Smith Middle School in Troy. He enjoys his time spent volunteering at Yad Ezra in Berkley and plans to continue these efforts. Kayla Sara Kapen, daughter of Debra and Ehud Kapen and sister of Leah Schloss, will be called to the Torah as a bat mitz- vah on Saturday, May 1, at Congregation Kapen Shaarey Zedek West Bloomfield, B'nai Israel Center. Kayla's grandparents are Rachel and Sheldon Kapen of West Bloomfield and Barbara and Don Mills and the late Abraham Block of Bowie, Md. She is a seventh-grade student at Berkshire Middle School in Beverly Hills. Kayla's favorite mitzvah proj- ect has been volunteering with the Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield, working closely with children with special needs.
