at the United Artists Commerce Theatre
as part of the JCC Lenore Marwil Jewish
Film Festival.

Quotable

"My mother, Jeannette
Eizelman, O.B.M., our
first executive director,
would always say as we
encountered each crisis
(which usually meant
financial) that an 'angel'
would come forward to save
the day. Throughout our
20 years, there have been
many 'angels.' Yad Ezra was
truly a creation of the entire
mosaic of the Detroit Jewish
community."

— Mickey Eizelman, one of the founders

and leaders of Berkley-based Yad Ezra,

Michigan's only kosher food pantry, in its

spring newsletter "Feeding Families ...

Nourishing Hope."
