most recently at Henry Ford
Hospital in Wyandotte. He is a past
president of Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. Rochelle is a
renowned music
teacher in the
Detroit area.

to Yossel (Joseph)

Mermelstein

for heroism and
perseverance
through the Holocaust and beyond.
Yossel served the community with
distinction at Congregation Bath
Ahm in West Bloomfield for more
than 50 years.
Guest Speaker at the dinner will
be Zev Bielski, son of Zus Bielski,
whose incredible story of boldness
and defiance against the Nazis dur-
ing the Holocaust has been publi-
cized in the movie Defiance.
