SELMA D. GROSS, 88, of Walled
Lake, died April 12, 2010.
She is survived by her daugh-
ters, Susan Gross of Berkley,
Maxine Burnstein of Farmington
Hills; grandchildren, Bryan
(Brooke) Burnstein and Kevin
Burnstein. Also survived by many
other loving family members and
friends.
Selma was the beloved wife
of the late William H. Gross and
mother-in-law of the late Stuart
Burnstein and sister of the late
Rose Shneiderman and the late
Edward Winer.
Interment was held at Hebrew
Memorial Park in Mt. Clemens.
Contributions may be made to the
American Lung Association, to the
Beaumont Hospital Foundation
or to any charity of one's choice.

CLARENCE "DOC" HEUER, 90,
of Northville, died April 10, 2010.
Doc served in the Military
Police in Europe during World War
II. He was at Buchenwald after its
liberation and helped organize
the forced tours of the camp by
nearby civilians, who had denied
all knowledge of the horrors that
had taken place there.
Doc is survived by sons, Jeff
(Betsy), John, Bob (Karen);
daughter, Helen Anstaett; loving
grandchildren, Jeremy and Hilary
Heuer, Jonathan Heuer (Jean Liu),
Meredith Heuer (Tom Wright),
Jeff Heuer (Ranae), Kevin Heuer
(Rebecca), Tim, Shannon and
Angela Heuer; Erin and Emily
Anstaett, Kathryn Anstaett (Mike
Nau); Jack and Gordy Heuer; four
great-grandchildren, Galen and
Bree Heuer, Cleveland and August
Wright; and loving nieces and
nephews.
Doc was the beloved husband of
65 years of the late Kathryn "Kay"
Heuer.
