He was a building developer and owner of D & H Builders. He was also on the city of Oak Park's Planning Commission Genser and Zoning Board of Appeals for 40 years. SHUBOW HENKIN, 89, of Sarasota, Fla., died March 23, 2010. She was a retail clothing executive and former owner of Belle Jacob on Livernois in Detroit. Rose's tenacious life spirit fuels her grandchildren, Nikolai and Ashley Sears and Cecilia Kaufman. Loving sister Louise Applebaum has lifelong memories of Rosie. Rose was the sister of the late Pauline Spayer. Her devoted former husband Jack Kaufman and dear friend Mary Lewis hold her dear as well.
