Arbor are excited to announce
the engagement of their children
Benjamin Taylor and Julia Breakey. The
two met while working on the school
newspaper at Ann Arbor Huron High
School.
Julia graduated from the University of
Michigan with a bachelor of arts degree in
economics. She is a business development
manager for Avaya Government Solutions
in Fairfax, Va.
Benjamin graduated from the University of Michigan with a joint acceler-
ated bachelor of arts degree in economics and master's of public policy from the
U-M Gerald Ford School of Public Policy. He is a policy analyst with the Office of
Management and Budget in Washington, D.C.
The couple reside in Arlington, Va., and are looking forward to an August wedding
in Michigan.

Lake are pleased to announce the engage-
ment of their daughter Hillary to Craig Glaser,
the son of Anthony and Michelle Glaser of
Johannesburg, South Africa. Craig is also the
son of the late Naomi Glaser.
Craig and Hillary met in Israel. Both are
attending the Interdisciplinary Center in
Herzliyza. Hillary is finishing her degree
in international relations and Middle East
studies, while Craig is pursuing a degree in
digital media communications.
An August wedding is planned in Israel.

Berman 60th

y and Rose Berman are celebrating
their 60th wedding anniversary with
their children and grandchildren
across the country.
In Palm Springs, Calif., they were just treated
to a lovely dinner hosted by their children, Paul
Berman and Linda Shayne (Santa Monica,
Calif.) and Joyce Berman and Dan Carol, and
grandson, Jack Carol (Eugene, Ore.).
This weekend, they will celebrate with
daughter Laura Berman and Brian Dickerson
(Birmingham) and grandchildren Lina
Berman and Zack Dickerson and other family
members at a brunch. Events will continue,
including a May celebration at granddaughter Robin Carol's college graduation
in Boston.
Sy and Rose were married on April 16, 1950, in Detroit, and have traveled,
laughed and celebrated their way through life together. Their loved ones wish
them continued health, nachas and mazel.
